Tues & Thur Practices Canceled............

This is an unfortunately situation that we have been presented with.
I received a call today from Bill Hill informing me that
the "W" is CLOSED again

They at this time are unable to pay their water and heating bills,
this being said they have to closed their doors.

They are hoping to find a solution to this problem, but until they do
practice on Tuesday and Thursday at the "W" is CANCELED.
This is a terrible PREDICAMENT not only for our club training there, but
for the individuals that have membership, swim, and workout there.

I hope that they do find a way to save the "W". It would be a waste to loss
such an incredible facility in our area.

Lets keep our fingers crossed.....

I would like to thank first and foremost
Dominic Yoder for hosting the first of many
"Wildcat Challenge" Power League

Being our first year there were many things that we learned about running
a successful power league and we can't wait to for our next years power league.

The final competition date saw;
Border Blazers VS Articatz 17's

The Articatz 17's team even thou we were down many of our players was
able to come out victorious against the Border Blazers (3-0)

I want to thank two girls:
Kylee Fitzpatrick and Chelsey Caron for coming out
and helping us fill a team to compete in the
Championship match

It was great to see the girls play with such love and passion
This is why I do what I do twice a week for 6 months.

Thank you also to all the teams involved this year and the years to come:
Border Blazers
UP Storm
Delta Elite

Introducing A New Club in Our Area........

We are so excited to introduce another volleyball club program in our area:

The Delta Elite Volleyball Club:
In their first season, the program is intended to service the female athletes of Delta County, Michigan, who wish to improve their fundamental volleyball skills, to have a great time with other great athletes, and to explore their options for funding their college educations through collegiate volleyball. Currently, they are sponsoring one team in the 17 and under age bracket. Female athletes that are 18 and in their senior year of high school are welcome to practice with them but are not eligible for competition. They hope to expand in the future to include a younger age group as well, though gym availability is currently a limiting factor.

Club Leadership
Director and Coach Bron Harmon, Escanaba bharmonup@hotmail.com
Bron Harmon has been actively involved in volleyball since she was 15. Having played in high school and college, coaching was the next logical step. She has coached at the middle school, freshman, junior varsity, and varsity levels; led or helped with many clinics and summer camps; was an assistant coach to Tracy Hruska within the Articatz VBC; and continues to play in her spare time. Her family graciously understands her passion for kids, coaching, and volleyball and actively supports her continued participation in the game.
